What type of battery can I use to power my trolling motor?

Alex Boki |

For powering your trolling motor, you can use any deep cycle 12V marine type battery, however if you would like a battery that is able to run for a longer amount of type then we recommend using a ROCKSOLAR LiFePO4 battery (lithium iron phosphate battery).

Here are some reasons why we recommend using a ROCKSOLAR Life P04 battery:

Service Life – Our LiFePO4 batteries have a service life of over 3500 cycles which will allow you to spend more time fishing and not have to worry about your battery running out for a long time.

Lightweight – Our batteries are significantly lighter compared to most other LiFePO4 batteries. For instance, our 100AH battery only weights 27.6 lbs. compared to most other 100AH batteries that weight over 75 pounds.

BMS System – Our battery management system offers you greater peace of mind when using our batteries because it provides temperature, short circuit, over discharge, over current & over charge protection while also offering battery cell balancing.

Working Temperature – Our LiFePO4 batteries have a discharge temperature: -20~60 degrees Celsius so whether you are out fishing in the early morning or during the day you can be sure that your battery will work.

Charging – our ROCKSOLAR LiFePO4 batteries can not only be charged with the included charger, but they can also be charged using our solar panels as well!
