The Growatt SPH 10000TL-HU-US is a 10 kW split-phase (120/240 V) hybrid inverter for US homes and small businesses. It runs your solar panels, charges a 48 V battery, and switches your loads to backup power in 10 ms when the grid goes down, fast enough that computers and Wi-Fi stay on.

Which battery works with the SPH 10000TL-HU-US?
The SPH is a 48 V low-voltage inverter. Pair it with the Growatt ALP LV-US 48 V battery (5.12 kWh per module, up to 40.96 kWh), which talks to the inverter over CAN. Growatt's APX battery is a high-voltage (385 V) battery for the MIN XH-US series and does not work with the SPH. Lead-acid batteries are also supported.
How big a system does it run?
With 10 kW of continuous output, the SPH can carry most homes' everyday loads on backup: fridge, lights, internet, furnace fan, well pump and a window or mini-split AC. FAQs
Is the SPH 10000TL-HU-US a split-phase inverter?
Yes. It outputs 120/240 V split-phase (or 120/208 V), so it can power a standard US home panel, including 240 V loads.
Can I add it to an existing solar system?
Yes. It supports AC-coupled retrofits, so you can add battery backup to an existing grid-tie solar system.
Does it work with the Growatt APX battery?
No. The APX is a high-voltage battery for the MIN XH-US series. The SPH uses a 48 V battery such as the Growatt ALP LV-US.
What warranty does it have?
Growatt's 10-year warranty, supported in the US. We're an authorized Growatt distributor, so your unit is a genuine US model.
